About Me

In 2025, I was assigned to discuss artificial intelligence and its growing role in healthcare to a large group of MPL professionals. Having little background or experience with AI, I had a lot to learn before I could speak intelligently on the topic.

What I didn't know in 2025 was that AI would develop quickly in the healthcare industry. More clients began using AI and I wanted to develop an understanding of how it worked. I began reading into this new technology and enjoyed writing posts about legal trends and developments. After talking with other professionals from various health-related backgrounds, it became clear AI will play a critical role in the future of healthcare.

Outside of writing about AI in healthcare, I am a trial lawyer in the Nashville office of Wicker Smith where I defend hospitals, clinics, and providers of all specialties against claims of malpractice.
